Sunday Session is a regular practice of multidisciplinary real time composition, taking place 2 Sundays per month at studio BodLabOT. It is a platform for artists with an interest in this mode of performance to gather, play and compose together in real time.
Sunday Sessions were created in 2014 by Katie Duck and Amsterdam based artists. The sessions are aimed for performance artists, singers, dancers, actors and musicians who have an interest to do multidisciplinary compositions for performances. Artists who attend are living in Amsterdam or are traveling through the city.
Sunday Sessions are not workshops or jams. It is a place for artists to gather and practice real time performance with an aim to perform in confrontation with the public. It is a platform created to celebrate and support experimental, multidisciplinary performance art practices. The sessions are held by Amsterdam based artists Maria Mavridou and Manuela Lucia Tessi or other colleague artists when they are out of town. The participants conduct a one hour improvisation piece.

Door policy: Please arrive 5 minutes before starting. (The front door of the OT301 building needs to close after). Contribution: Pay what you can: €5-10 in cash
