The OT301 is an international community of people that work and live in the old Film Acamdemy on the Overtoom in Amsterdam. We are organised as an association called Vereniging EHBK (Eerste Hulp Bij Kunst). Everybody that has or runs a space within the OT301 is a member of that association. As a community we share the responsibilty for the OT301.

Playful, imaginative, empowering and fun! We introduce children aged 2-10 years old to the world of theatre and dance. They learn performance skills, develop confidence and experience working together in a participatory way.
Designed by Georgina Dean, a British theatre-maker and performer trained in the UK and the Netherlands, the courses have been running since 2012. Classes for the youngest kids are themed, immersive sessions taken together with a parent or carer. Those for older children are based on theatre/movement games and lead to an informal presentation for parents and friends at the end of the course.
All classes are taught in English, and are a great way to practice for kids growing up in Amsterdam with English as a first or second language. They take place in the studio on the top floor of the OT301, overlooking the Vondelpark. We also teach in schools, providing custom made classes and workshops for all age ranges, from pre-school to graduating students.
Classes are LGBT+ family friendly and celebrate all nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Unfortunately the studio is not currently accessible for wheelchair users, but together with other members of our building, we are working on finding a long term solution for this.
