The OT301 has been squatted (1999) and bought (2006) by a diverse, international community that is united in an association called EHBK. We run this alternative, not-for-profit platform as a collective, in which housing, workspaces and public functions are combined to contribute to the arts, politics and subculture.

BODY LANGUAGE — SILENCE AS A LANGUAGE is an invitation to explore what happens beyond words — through the body, movement, art, psychodrama and encounter.

WHEN SILENCE SPEAKS

Silence is not the absence of communication.

Sometimes it is where communication begins.

Before we explain, interpret or find the right words, something has already happened:

A change in posture.
A breath held for a second.
A movement towards someone — or away.
An emotion passing through the body.
A moment of eye contact.
A silence shared.

What if we paid attention to these moments?

Not to create something perfect.
Not to perform for others.

But to notice, experience, express and connect.

And perhaps to create something that exists only for a moment — ephemeral art — while leaving something behind in us.
