The Calm and the Storm - The Movie is an intimate documentary following HALFPASTSEVEN on his first European tour — the namesake of his debut album. Traveling through Ghent, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Frankfurt, and Mainz, the film captures the raw and unfiltered reality of life as an independent musician.
Told through the distinct lens of Yunil Jeon, the film blends the grit and beauty of the road with the quiet moments in between — the exhaustion, the laughter, and the music that binds it all together. Shot entirely on Jeon’s vintage digital camcorder, its raw cinematography and unpolished editing style immerse viewers in the honest, human journey behind the art.
Following the screening, there will be a showcase of a photo book featuring photography captured throughout the tour — offering another layer of visual storytelling and reflection. Drinks will be served during the showcase.
