What is Supernova Cinema 
The Supernova Cinema is a safer space cinema in Amsterdam, founded by the team behind the International Queer & Migrant Film Festival, currently celebrating its 6th annual edition. The space is charachterized by an alternative and inclusive programming, showcasing indie films, debates and workshops focused on intersectionality, new perspectives, queer topics, migration, diversity & identity. Who is behind Supernova Cinema?
The team behind Supernova includes programmers, organisers and volunteers from the International Queer & Migrant Film festival – a diverse group of people who are directly involved in topics such as representation, decolonisation and commemoration, all from a professional perspective. We are a diverse team supported by a group of enthusiastic volunteers and cinema-lovers. The board of the foundation consists of members with a background in cinema, academia and the arts.

What will Supernova Cinema do with the raised money?
With your donation, Supernova Cinema will be able to refurbish the cinema space, purchasing a much needed new beamer and reupholstered vintage cinema seats. We will will refurbish the Ventilation Room, professionalize the bar and provide the space with new furniture.
